NEW PARISH APOSTOLATE! St. Stephen's Mission Rosary Making takes place every 1st & 3rd Friday after the 8:30 AM Mass till 11:45 AM in Social Hall. We will begin each group with a prayer for all those receiving the rosaries, as well as for our edification in making them.

Terrific Tuesday Benefit Concert, featuring the Exquisite Strings Quartet, will be Friday, Mar 16 at 7PM at First Evangelical Presbyterian Church Sanctuary (19800 108th Ave. SE, Kent). Free-will offering.

St. Stephen Housing Association is in need of computer and computer software donations for their families. Many of these families are looking for work or are going back to school to help them find better employment and could use a computer to help them accomplish these things. Your old computer can be put to great use and help out a struggling family! We are looking for the following:

Women’s Lenten Retreat Day: “The Feminine Ethos”  Every society needs both the masculine and the feminine identities to work together to connect the culture. Join Camille Pauley, a nationally recognized speaker from Healing the Culture, for a retreat day from 10 AM - 2 PM on Wednesday, Mar 14 as she discusses the differences between the feminine and masculine ways of approaching the world, some of the problems that arise in culture when women attempt to approach the world like men, and offer some solutions on how men and women can use those identities to help heal our culture. Lunch and childcare are provided and the cost is $20/person. Lenten Day of Reflection at St. James Cathedral (Seattle) “Journey of Faith: From our Baptism, Called to be Light”, sponsored by the Seattle Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women, will take place on Saturday, Mar 17 from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Fr. Raymond Cleaveland will speak, hear confessions, and lead prayer. In addition, communal prayer, lunch, ACCW mission information, and a tour of the cathedral are included for $35. The first talk will be after the evening Mass on Sunday, Feb 26. After that, he'll give his talks twice daily (in morning and evening sessions) from Monday, Feb 27 through Wednesday, Feb 29. The St. Stephen's Youth Choir will be providing the music for the 5:00 Ash Distribution service on Ash Wednesday, where they will also present, "The Tale of Three Trees". This 18-minute musical story tells of Jesus' life, death and resurrection. Please come experience this wonderful piece! Youth Choir members should meet at 4:30 PM, in the choir area. Lenten Mission Talks Brian Casey, a national speaker with a warm personality and a clear message that is easy to understand for all ages, will be here to present a series called, “Our Walk in His Footsteps”. The first talk will be after the evening Mass on Sunday, Feb 26. After that, he'll give his talks twice daily (in morning and evening sessions) from Monday, Feb 27 through Wednesday, Feb 29. Women’s Lenten Retreat Day Camille Pauley, a dynamic national speaker for Healing the Culture will be at St. Stephen’s for a women’s retreat day on Wednesday, Mar 14 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Lunch and childcare are provided and the cost is $20/person. Be sure and mark your calendars now! Lenten Day of Reflection at St. James Cathedral (Seattle) “Journey of Faith: From our Baptism, Called to be Light”, sponsored by the Seattle Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women, will take place on Saturday, Mar 17 from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Fr. Raymond Cleaveland will speak, hear confessions, and lead prayer. In addition, communal prayer, lunch, ACCW mission information, and a tour of the cathedral are included for $35. The Living Stations of the Cross First Meeting: 2pm Sunday February 26th

South King County Young Adults (SKCYA) is an opportunity for you to network with other Catholic young adults in the area! Open to all 18-35 year olds (single or married). We meet monthly on 2nd Saturdays, alternating among different local parishes. Our next meeting will be on Saturday, Feb 11, at Holy Family Parish (505 17th Street SE Auburn, WA 98002). We will be joining the parish for Saturday Vigil Mass at 5 PM and then meeting in the Parish Center afterwards. NEW PARISH APOSTOLATE! St. Stephen's Mission Rosaries. In imitating our Lord, we want to share our rich faith tradition by honoring His most Holy Mother so that, in turn, she may teach us how to love her Son more. Rosary-making will start in February, every 1st & 3rd Friday after the 8:30 AM Mass till 12:00 PM. We will begin each group with a prayer for all those receiving these rosaries as well as for our edification in making them. Coffee and treats will be provided.
