Obtain Your Food Worker CardChef Stefanie Branica, education specialist for the Food Worker Card Program, will be teaching a Food Worker class at St. Stephens,on Thursday, August 23 at 10:00 AM, in the social hall. The class and test take about 90 minutes. Once you pass the test and pay the ten dollar fee (cash only) you will be provided with a Food Worker Card. Please sign up on the form posted in the Narthex by August 12th if you plan to attend this Food Worker Card Class.

The Parish Life Commission in partnership with the Filipino-American Spring Festival groups is bringing dance classes to St. Stephen's! 24 hour Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament- Friday August 3rd is First Friday for the month....Please consider making a holy hour in adoration of our Lord Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. We all come to Jesus with our praises, our thanksgiving, and our needs. Adoration will be in the chapel from 9 AM Friday until 3 PM Saturday. As we seek to strengthen the services offered by our parish, the following two 8 hour-per-week positions are being created.  Please spread the word to anyone who might be qualified.
· RCIA Coordinator.  This is an eight-hour per week position who will coordinate the program and the wonderful team of volunteers who have made it such a welcoming and enriching experience for those seeking full membership in the Catholic faith
· Facilities Coordinator.  This also is an eight hour per week position and will be responsible for coordinating outside contractors and our nearly self-managing custodial team

South King County Young Adults (SKCYA) is an opportunity for you to network with other Catholic young adults in the area! Open to all 18-35 year olds (single or married). We meet monthly on 2nd Saturdays, alternating among different local parishes. Our next meeting will be here at St. Stephen's on Sat., July 14th.  Jim Battles, a parishioner from St. John the Baptist in Covington, will be speaking on the topic: "Keeping Your Faith Alive as a Young Adult".   We will be joining the parish for Sat. Vigil Mass at 5 PM and then meeting in the conference room in the office area afterwards.  Hope you can make it!  Invite a friend!

Sr High Bicycle Ride to Lake Meridian. 10am-2pm Tuesday, July 17th. Who can go? Students grades 9-12 in the fall. This year’s graduated Seniors. Last date for registration: July 15th at noon!
