As we seek to strengthen the services offered by our
parish, the following two 8 hour-per-week positions are being created.
Please spread the word to anyone who might be qualified.
· RCIA
Coordinator. This is an eight-hour per week position who will
coordinate the program and the wonderful team of volunteers who have
made it such a welcoming and enriching experience for those seeking full
membership in the Catholic faith
· Facilities Coordinator. This
also is an eight hour per week position and will be responsible for
coordinating outside contractors and our nearly self-managing custodial
team

South King County Young Adults (SKCYA) is an opportunity for you to
network with other Catholic young adults in the area! Open to all 18-35
year olds (single or married). We meet monthly on 2nd Saturdays,
alternating among different local parishes. Our next meeting will be
here at St. Stephen's on Sat., July 14th. Jim Battles, a parishioner
from St. John the Baptist in Covington, will be speaking on the topic:
"Keeping Your Faith Alive as a Young Adult". We will be joining the
parish for Sat. Vigil Mass at 5 PM and then meeting in the conference
room in the office area afterwards. Hope you can make it! Invite a
friend!
Sr High Bicycle Ride to Lake Meridian. 10am-2pm Tuesday, July 17th. Who
can go? Students grades 9-12 in the fall. This year’s graduated Seniors.
Last date for registration: July 15th at noon! (Cost: Free - bring a

Kitchen Helpers Needed! - Volunteers are needed to help clean and
organize our parish kitchen each week. This important ministry is a
great way to gain new skills, meet people, and build community!
Volunteer days and times are flexible, however Kitchen Helpers are

2013 Honduras Mission - If you are considering joining us on our
February 2013 Mission trip to Honduras, or would like more information
about our upcoming trip, please contact Patrick Flanigan at flanigap@comcast.net or Debbie Dullenty at ddullenty@comcast.net. We will let you know about our upcoming meeting to discuss our 2013 trip.
The Nursery will be closed during the months of July and August and will
reopen September 9th, 2012. We are in need of adult volunteers (18 and
older) to begin assisting in September. Experience with infants and
toddlers a must. Candidate will assist with mass and special events.
