Christmastime Volunteers Needed

Traffic and Parking helpers needed before the Christmas Eve 4 PM and 7 PM Masses. Please sign-up in rear of Church, or contact Wendell Pang at 206-683-6865.

Church Decorators needed on Sunday, Dec 18, 6:45 PM - 8:30 PM and Monday, Dec 19, 9 AM - 12 PM. Help also needed in removing decorations on Monday, Jan 9, 9 AM - 12 PM. Returning Catholics - New series begins on Wednesday, January 4 at 7:00 PM in the Outreach Annex. Contact Cynde Bosshart to sign up 253-631-1940.

The Faith Formation Office will be closed Friday, December 23 through Monday, January 1 for the Holidays!

The Honduras Mission Team will be returning February and respectfully requests donations of the following items to help us support the local orphanages: boys' & girls' underwear/socks; gently used clothes (rememeber, Honduran children tend to be smaller/more slender ) including boys’ shirts (size 2-14), slim jeans, and girls' blouses (children through teenagers); towels/washcloths; linen for single beds; toothpaste /toothbrushes; Tylenol and vitamins; craft materials of all kinds for children; school backpacks; storybooks in Spanish; rosaries; adult reading glasses/sunglasses; baseball caps; soccer balls. Please place items in the Narthex box by Jan 1. Cash donations are always welcome as we will be working on projects at the orphanages that require purchase of needed supplies upon our arrival. Faith, Fellowship, and Fun Women of all ages are invited to join St. Stephen Council of Catholic Women for our next “First Saturday” monthly meeting on Saturday, Jan 7. We start at 8:30 AM with Mass in the Chapel, followed by 9:00 AM Communal Adoration. Then we have brunch from 10:00-11:30AM in the Staff dining room. Hear about the activities of women’s groups at the Parish and diocese level, and participate in fun activities. Reminder: Giving Tree gifts are due this weekend (by Sunday, Dec 18) Trees in the Narthex still have some gift tags with requested items for each of the four different groups:Talbot Center for Rehabilitation, St. Stephen Housing Association, Pregnancy Aid, and Homeless Backpacks. Please follow individual instructions on tags/near the trees for wrapping and returning requirements. Thank you!
